Highly detailed hand cast pewter hoist drum and 2 steam engines / pistons based on a design similar to that of the Jennings log skidder steam engine and winch (SS9125) or that of the Buffalo Steam Hoist & Boiler kit (SS9117) - great for that lumber, industrial or mining operation! Superb details including pistons, engine 'cast iron' framework, a hand brake, and even detailing down to the bearing journels for the hoist drum. Steam Boiler kit not included (sold seperately).

Steam Hoist Cradle and Winch Unit Kit
Another very fine product. The pieces required little clean-up to remove excess metal. They were easy to assemble and paint. Thread is provided for simulating wire for the hoist. I have placed it with a mine on my layout.

good product. just what I was looking for. Only improvement would be a hook of some sort for the end of the cable.
