This large electric motor, clutch & brake, and 90 degree gearbox mechanism can serve dual purposes at any industrial installation where you might find need of it. Back in the '10Â?s & 20Â?s, Steam and Electricity fought for position in almost every factory and mine. This particular setup is typical of those found in smaller industries with electricity. The kit includes the unit fitted with 'hoist sheaves'; and we have included Flat Belt Drive Pulleys so you can operate a mine or run overhead belt drive machinery as needed.
