    Weighty dock addition

Posted by Woody on 12th Dec 2015

There are two identical scales in each pkg. The perpendicular arm comes with a quite small nub intended to restin a snug hole in the front of the base. One may ask is the hole large/small enough for the arm tone snugly attached by means of a dab of acc glue. O silly you, you ask in vein since there is NO hole! An hour later I managed to create two such holes and thus the scales were ready for painting. I hoped the website would have a color reference but apparently it can be found inside the pre-drilled hole..... The thing is, much as I want to hate this scale for the extra work it has given me, the bloody thing looks authentic, has wonderful dimensions and has become a very special addition to two scenes!!
