If you model steam-era railroading this is perfect for tower interiors, offices and such. Just paint dark gray, dry-brush with lighter gray and put on the desk - an easy detail and the only source I know for such a thing.

I painted three typewriters and detailed a depot agents room with them. Adds purpose to the model.
