Product Description
Based on an actual early 1900's narrow gauge logging railroad bridge in the Sonora / Jamestown California area. The prototype actual crossed Dinky Creek (really!). Later it was converted to a narrow 'highway' bridge for one way traffic by the California Highway Dept. Up until 2023, when it was destroyed in the extra heavy snowfall of the winter season, it was used for foot traffic for it's final years.
This kit is drawn carefully to be just like the prototype, for narrow gauge, but is very easily converted to standard gauge or even highway usage. The kit contains 858 hand cast pewter detail parts and over 120 scale boards of lumber to construct. This classic kit will want a prominent place on your layout indeed!
Bridge builds to a HO scale 68.5 foot length.
Footprint 9.5" long x 3 5/8" wide x 2 7/8" high.

DINKY CREEK BRIDGE
Very nice kit but I couldn't use it because it was the wrong scale.
