A classic Victorian to "turn of the century" style brick store building in a true craftsman level kit that almost anyone can build!Not so long ago, buildings such as The Store, presented here, dotted the land. From coast to coast; from border to border, these apartment/home above, and business below combinations, the "Mom and Pop" stores, were highlights of the turn-of-the-century, capturing the very essence of "Victorian Architecture". SS LTD has retained the flavor of the ornate exterior design while crafting a design that allows you to enter the structure easily via cleverly concealed removable roof and wall sections. This permits you to furnish the spacious store front, stock the store room and climb the stairway to the dwelling area above with its two bedrooms, front parlor, bathroom and family kitchen. Delightful then, and most certainly, delightful now.
The kit includes all diecut interior walls (40+ pieces), interior wallpapers, flooring, roofing, and exterior brick siding overlays, scale lumber, and has over 130(!) of our hand cast pewter building detail & trim pieces (interior & exterior)! It has been designed to be able to remove the roof and side walls to view the interior as desired.(See kit no. 7229 for a photo of the interior walls.)
It is ready to load with super details from our super detail set No. SS7229 (see below)!
