Jennings Lumber Company built this storage / retail building to try to keep up with the demand of the many customersthat keep appearing on the local layout. Train cars with loads of lumber can be easily off loaded even out of bad weather inside the center area.
Jennings' owner also equipped the building with many state of the art power tools (all with the overhead belt drive system)from Nevada Iron Works & Foundry such as a cutoff saw, jointer, table saw, & planer.
Dust is a potential fire hazard - so a complex dust control system was installed along with a complete fire fighting equipment area.
Many fun hours of kit building with just under 500 boards of lumber, and jeweled with over 300 finely detailed cast pewter parts!
