If you're looking for a bench for a model train station of the early 1900s, look no further. This kit was ideal and with two benches, I could place one on the platform outside and one inside the passenger waiting area. It was easy to assemble and paint. Perfect.
Takes care to assemble. (and DON'T drop the feet on the floor!) It's hard to find good station seats, and these are very nice when they are finished.
These castings require careful preparation for assembly. Besides filing & sanding the castings, the front bench feet are separate castings that need to be bonded to the end pieces.
The products are good. In fact they about the only source of interior detail. However, it feels that the almost standard price of $6.99 per item is at times very high for many items. I would purchase more if the price were less for some of the smaller items. I realize that the effort may be the same but the value is not.
