Based on an actual early 1900's narrow gauge logging railroad bridge in the Sonora / Jamestown California area. The prototype actual crossed Dinky Creek (really!). Later it was converted to a narrow 'highway' bridge for one way traffic by the California Highway Dept. Currently it is used for foot traffic.
It is drawn carefully to be like the prototype, for narrow gauge, but is very easily converted to standard gauge or highway usage. The kit contains 858 hand cast pewter detail parts and over 60 scale boards of lumber to construct. This will want a prominent place on your layout indeed!
Bridge builds to a HO scale 69 foot length.
Footprint 9.5" long.
